Advertisement Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Hi Guest kissov, Take a look here D2 at Leica NJ. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted April 6, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 6, 2007 Richard - Your best bet is to call them and ask. However, if the problem is the sensor, that will be replaced for free and they will go ahead and ship it to Solms without first mailing an estimate to you asking permission to do the repair. If the problem is not the sensor and it is in warranty, again they'll go ahead and ship it to Solms without first mailing an estimate to you asking permission to do the repair. If it is out of warranty they will seek your approval before doing other than testing. When my sensor went bad I dropped the camera at Leica NJ. in early January and they told me it would take 5 to 6 weeks. 5 ½ weeks later I had the camera inhand. Guest kissov Posted April 6, 2007 Share #4 Posted April 6, 2007 Stuart and William thank you for the info, it is sensor failure, so I guess I have a six week wait.
