I'm missing my X vario now . . . after looking at these fabulous shots.

Rob

Hey Rob, Gary is correct there is one on FM for a good price. The guy posted a few questions here but did not wind up keeping the camera long enough to get through the learning curve. Their loss may be your gain!

Thank you very much, David! I find the X Vario perfect for botanical shots. I use it without a viewfinder, which makes it easier to get the angle I want.

+1 for the botanical shots. The XV is my go-to camera for flowers and bugs! But, I have noticed some dust spots on the sensor lately. Easily corrected in Lightroom at this time, but hopefully it won't get far worse anytime soon.

I'm still in Tallinn, well I'm working my way through the X-Vario shots from this beautiful place.

Yes Gary, in the foreground the port of Rapallo, and under the red arrow Portofino.

A region we like a lot :)

Us too Jacques, we did a day trip when we stayed at Corniglia. Beautiful area, one we could spends months exploring.

We are doing that vicariously via your pictures.

So, now you guys have me taking my X-Vario with me when I go out with the grand-daughters.

They remarked about the tortured look of these two trees. Low, late, afternoon winter's sun didn't help, but nice to be out.
