How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

UK Govt. Covid 19 prevention regulations, limit an individual's 'exercise' outside the home, and in their locality, to 1 hour per day. I thus drove to the Langdyke Trust's Swaddywell reserve near Peterborough, a 5 minute drive from my home, where 'incidental to my 'exercise' I snapped a few pics using my X Vario plus Leica E52 Elpro '7 diopter' achromatic c/u lens. 

Tachinid fly spotted on a cliff face is approx 5mm in length and the image is cropped:

 X Vario fitted with Leica E52 Elpro (via stepping rings) and Olympus VF-2 finder; handheld, ISO 200  f14  1/200sec.

Face / jowl / palpi not quite sharp but shows potential of the 7 diopter Elpro E52 on the X Vario
