I'm constantly amazed at the sheer look of the SOOC JPEG's, that this camera presents me.

This thread can be hazardous to one's financial health!  :angry: Resistance proved to be hopeless: I finally gave up and purchased an X Vario. It has been too rainy to get outside much, so I've been shooting indoors.  ​

 

Here is an Eilat (King Solomon's Stone) sample (the national stone of Israel). f/6.4, 1/125s, ISO 1600, OOC JPEG, drastically cropped. The actual length of the sample is only about 28mm. Lighting was incandescent: Auto white balance read it correctly.
