2nd is the XV.........

the XV seems to produce generally richer more contrasty images OOC ..... which is presumably why they compare very favourably ..... the M images are probably closer to reality ....

I'm amazed how everyone has chosen the second one as to be the M's. Another proof of the XV outstanding performance. Thanks again for sharing.

Exhibits at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu. These examples at varying ISO values were taken in mixed lighting with WB set to AUTO. I took over a hundred photos in all using autofocus with no problems whatsoever - accurate results every time.

I’ve posted some more radiator caps and marque emblems in the Technology and Industry Photo Forum.

You can get a closer approximation with the bottom two by moving colour from magenta to green and lowering temperature very slightly on the X Vario jpeg. I suspect you could get a better match than here and they'd be difficult to tell apart..

NEC Photo show again

Did you have a macro filter or anything else in front of the lens to get this close?

BTW - I have really enjoyed your shots in this thread. Beautiful colors and composition.

One more from DC. The cherry blossoms are only at about 10% open, but still a few around for closeup shots.
