dubaiphil Posted June 5, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 5, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi I've just joined, am living in Dubai, and am currently a Nikon user but I'm getting seriously tempted by rangefinder shooting, having got into street photography and environmental portraiture over the past two years. I've got a full (and heavy) bag of lenses for my D700, but find great pleasure in keeping things simple with a Carl Zeiss 2/35 ZF. We have a Leica stockist (if stockist is really the word - dealer, more like) in Dubai but M's are as rare as hens teeth in the city, so I'm looking to find as much information from as many reliable sources as possible. So I guess my ideal would be an M with 35 cron or lux, but I'm trying to find out as much as possible about the ZM equivalent as well (optimised for the Ikon rather than M, so I presume you can have the ZM recalibrated for an M body?) Hugh 38 Posted June 9, 2013 Share #2 Posted June 9, 2013 Hello there . Sorry I can not help with your question though I am sure you will find some answers on the forum . I am new here as well and a reflex user , though occasionally take my M6 out which I find strange.
