Not a topic I aim for either philipus but this one seems more like a picture of an interaction than solely one of someone down on their luck. Some human activity.

I like the white architectural lines and the reflection.

This one is some unpredictable craziness from 35mm Summilux v2, with HP5+

Wow picture with the Nocti and M6. :)

Great pictures with Kodak Portra 160.

I bought last week 20 rolls of Portra 160. I like this film

as I said above it looks like between Ektar and Portra 400

Marc, I corrected WB for this picture and bluish dominant disappeared

I can post if you agree.

Thanks for sharing

I took this picture just a few weeks ago and on Tuesday I found out she passed away in a motorcycle accident.......unbelievable, so so sad

Such a shame, your portrait is a tribute to her vivacity.

I usually refrain from photographing beggars and I honestly don't know why I did on this occasion but something caused me to raise the camera. What are your thoughts on this type of photography?

Frankly I try not to as I find it invasive - although there is a fine line generally in street photography in what is invasive or not, and many opinions!

Philip why ? it's  the real side of the current society where 1% of the population holds the majority of richness

in the world.

Beautiful street photo picture  with a dynamic movement in additionnal value and nice b&w tone. :)

Best

Thank you for the replies. I guess it depends on the situation and how it is done, among other things.

Thanks Henry...I did notice a hint toward blue/green upon uploading.  My TIFF files looked ok and thought I fixed it..I will bump the WB over a bit to correct.  I had to fight with blue/green for several shots from this roll...I may have botched the WB when I scanned these frames.  Please share your correction when you can.  I agree, I like Portra160/400 a lot!  It renders natural and correct color with a nice deep/rich look without all the extra saturation.
