I tried out a new film today, as I discovered I had one more roll of Velvia, I had to order another E6 kit and seven rolls of film to use it all up (it will do eight films). The only slide film in stock at Argentix was Rollei Crossbird 200, which is a slide film especially good in cross-processing, but is said to be OK in E6, although somewhat grainy. The film canisters actually say 'colour negative film' and 'process in C-41' presumably to convince a lab that it is OK to throw it in the C-41. Anyway, it is a bit grainy and the colours are strongly pre-disposed to yellow and green, but a little work and I have them pretty normal. I wouldn't recommend it if you have the choice of Velvia, but since I didn't...

And a couple from Korea.  Almost done with Korea, moving on to Pakistan or Japan in the next few days.

This amazing thread recently had me pulling out my MF gear and discovered a roll of unprocessed T-max 400 (old formula) in one of the A12 backs which I excitedly, quickly developed. I don't know the location but the last time I used this camera was in 2001 when I lived in the south west corner of the UK!

I do miss looking down that WLF and the square format.

Somewhere in Devon

Taking a break from Berlin and hoping Christoph doesn't mind that I post this of his elegant bag.

Btw, I've posted other photos from the recent and very enjoyable LUF meeting in Tilburg here.

Provia 100 (RDP II) wet scan

Wow! Is that how my old Billingham used to look. After suffering exposure in Antarctica, India, Turkey, Egypt, ........ etc it doesn't look quite so pristine. Mind you, it's functionality is still pristine. Christoph, you have a lot of travelling to do to catch up!

Judging by the strap settings , you have it well stocked.

Couple shots from a very chilly and very grey trip to Montauk in March, 2013.  No one else was there -- which was nice.  The frigid winds, however, were not.

Very enjoyable series Erl. I'd be interested in seeing more of your Hasselblad stuff. I particularly like the action shot with the conductor.

Specially for Philip, but I hope others enjoy.

Series of four more.

All Hasselblad using 100mm Planar, 150mm Sonnar and the final one with 30mm FishEye Distagon.

and the final two.

close inspection will reveal, in the second pic, how I made it. Note the edge of a stool immediately behind the conductor with the tips of mt feet standing on it. I held the camera above me, upsidedown, so I could view through the 45 Deg prism finder.

(I don't think I could do that today as I suffer from Benign Positional Vertigo.)

Had my girlfriend snap a portrait of me once I found the good light. Shot with R6.2 and 28mm Elmarit VII on Portra 400, that 28 is such an incredibly sharp and amazing lens! My current favorite.

Thank you Erl. I'm surprised (well not really, it's Zeiss after all) that the 30mm doesn't give more distortion than that. It's a beast of a lens though, no?

Yes Klaus very nice and very nice composition.

B&w perfect. The rendering of APX is stunning (I think it's Agfa before no?

With film you have time to compose  , not in digital case as I said in this post of Gerry :)
