MT0227 Posted June 5, 2016 Share #16643 Posted June 5, 2016 (edited) I agree with Adam; wonderful image...certainly a standout for me. I can't remember the camera or the film... Probably a Nikon FM with a short telephoto lens... Bäume gegenlicht 4.jpg Edited June 5, 2016 by MT0227

gbealnz Posted June 5, 2016 Share #16651 Posted June 5, 2016 Wow, an early sports camera, nice Wayne. The shutter problem, what was it? Loaded question as I also have a 1a, and eventually capitulated and had a complete shutter rebuild, new blinds etc. Cost as much as the camera, but as a good friend said, "It would be a crime to not repair/refurbish this lovely old piece of history". He was right, and now all I really need is a decent coating job, the front element is less than beautiful, and into the light it really shows. Fotoklaus Posted June 6, 2016 Share #16655 Posted June 6, 2016 (edited) A mastershot B&W, Klaus. If were a 4x5 or 8x10 it would be fit for any world class museum or gallery (not to say detract from the 35mm; but I hope you know what I mean). Amazing. Thank you, Adam! So perhaps I should search for the neg and make some prints. Edited June 6, 2016 by Fotoklaus
