Good practice, LOL.

At least you could then load it properly, and carry on.

I did a roll on an F2 at a wedding once, realised my misfortune when I got to about 40 on the film counter, and swore, audibly, much to the brides surprise.

Did them all again, so no drama, but I felt a complete pillock.

I'd venture very few haven't had blunders like this.

I'm starting to believe that all these ups and downs of shooting film is what makes shooting film so special and far from boring. This morning I loaded a roll of 135 into my M6 and it loaded perfectly, I walked around the market with a stupid grin on my face chuffed to bits that I had mastered loading 135 film into my M6....... Well maybe not completely mastered it but I did at least for this morning.

I'm really excited about getting home tomorrow and processing 94 rolls of 120 film.

LOL Neil, I hate to admit it, but the first thing that sprang to mind was "heck, I hope he had the lens-cap off".

You're right though, it's the whole experience, not all of it smooth too, that separates the mediums. Digital I love, it is quick and instant, and I love it as much as film.

I get a thrill from both, as most do, even the Doc,

94 rolls though? My goodness, you are into self-abuse. Good luck.

94? :o  On film, it is worth it to shoot only that which is worth shooting. Or are you a reincarnation of Garry Winogrand? ;)
