Late October afternoon, 2015. I remember listening to seals singing down in the loch on this day during my Wild Light Photography Workshop last October. I first photographed this place 30 years ago and have been back many times, the pull doesn't diminish.

I sometimes get that same purplish tint in the sky with the Kodak Gold............is that common?

I have been quite quiet, Neil. I am in KL, but am buried 10 feet under in a project, and haven't had time to breathe of late.

Your statement could go to another Magnum veteran: Bruce Gilden, too. Also in NYC, a wide-angle portrait but when having no batteries in the flash and sinking even lower than usually.

It's not an "artifact or schmootz"  of film , it's normal and natural IMO

I have this on my pictures of sea or on land  :)  like here

It's the shadow and reflection of clouds and light which gives it a little purple
