Thanks Neil  :)

I put the two pictures for comparison side by side

Eyes , black hair and black stocking , black deeper and definition is better in film !

but I wish to have the comparison on a print silver paper and ink jet for the result :)

From an artistic point of view I prefer the first in  Blad  and chinese lens

Edges and body lines are "smoothed"  with S  not natural IMO !

Best

Henry

Henry,

Both are quite nice, but I'm going with the first one  :D

What problems are you having loading your M6?  When I advance the film to start the roll, I make sure I feel the rewind level wanting to move counter clockwise.  Also, make sure you really get the film into the 3 post assembly, even though they claim its not necessary.

Marc

I think I have the film loaded, then today after shooting 3 frames, I couldn't wind on and only fairly managed to rewind it, the top edge seems to drop down inside, happened about 3 times now

Neil , I mean print with the enlarger on silver paper like Ilford

but you can also print on ink jet paper you showed in your post

I prefer a print on analog paper. You can ask the opinion of GaryGS

Make sure the film is fairly well seated, square, into the 3 post assembly.  Try to make sure the film is also flat and sprocket holes are in line with the sprocket.   The manual suggest you can more or less throw a roll in the and camera just loads itself, it's a bit more finicky than that.

Hello Neil,

If you are not satisfied with the coverage of a 40mm lens you might look around for a used Perri-Appolinar. Spelled reasonably close enough.

This will give you more coverage.

I think it is available in both Alpa & Hasselblad mounts.

Best Regards,

Michael

For Hoi An , I had Kodak Portra 160 and 400 and Kodak TX400

As you already know , very luminous in may and very hot too , KP 160 works well

Kodak Gold too  :)

Put your rolls in the cabine luggage for security gate (better outside) when you pass

the gate, ask the guard at HCMC and Danang airport !

I have no problem because I ask them but for 400 Isos , don't worry

By precaution, I put inside Domke bag

https://www.amazon.fr/Domke-protection-pour-films-Taille/dp/B00009USZ7/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1463151678&sr=8-3&keywords=Domke+bag+film

After the recent pictures here that were taken with the Widelux and the Noblex, now one taken with the poor man's Panorama camera, the Horizon.

Russian made and a lot of fun to use. So, Adam, if you were wondering what I was doing with that strange looking contraption...
