Guest Benqui Posted May 9, 2016 Share #14963 Posted May 9, 2016 Thanks for the shoulder, Gary. Yes, indeed, as a consolation, my thesis from my thread has now been conclusively and definitively established and soon will be on its way to the Pulitzer Prize committee for consideration for the next prize in excellence in the arts... Maybe I can help Adam: http://www.pulitzer.org/page/how-enter Knock on wood!
Doc Henry Posted May 9, 2016 Author Share #14964 Posted May 9, 2016 (edited) Sharing an exposure from a bad batch of Cinestill 50 from my recent trip to Miami Beach. Notice the schmootz in the sky... Totally ruined the vibe of my Nordic yoga man Many of the exposures from this roll share the same schmootz patterns as has been shared by MarkP. Interestingly, the second roll of Cinestill 50 that I have been scanning does not have this schmootz and appears to be normal. I have a few more rolls to go and we shall see... Life lesson: only shoot PRO films - life is too short for "batch inconsistency" issues!!! M-A 35mm summilux ASPH FLE, Cinestill 50 schmootz.jpg Adam for me the sky is nice and normal ! for the bather it can happen to have this shape and color on a light background Blue color of the sky and green of the sea are superb with Cinestill Rg H. Guest Posted May 9, 2016 Share #14973 Posted May 9, 2016 The following picture was taken some years ago on Tri-X with the M6 and the Summilux-50 pre-ASPH at f/1.4. It is a part of my Alone in Bangkok portfolio, which has just been published on David Alan Harvey's BURN Magazine website —you can see it here. But only three of the photos of the 19 in the portfolio were taken on film..most of the rest were taken with the MM. Bangkok
