I thought about Nikon lately, too. Ended up buying a used Coolscan IV  Though the resolution is only 2900 dpi, it plays better than my Minolta Dimage Scan Dual IV, which will have to look for a new home soon. I´m glad I took the Coolscan, as it is much easier to get great results. Why did I bother so long...

Here are some great colors; not much more than that, really, though sometimes that is all one needs... :)

Ah ! Someone spotted my little joke - it is for our overseas friends who refer to whole of the Great Britain as England !

That's right, isn't it? There's Great Britain, and then, by implication, the part of Britain that's . . . Not so "great".

I've got no idea what to do with this shot, so I'll share it with you all! It's Ektar 100/50 Summilux ASPH

and something with Portra 400 and 28 Summicron

both are really good, with stellar colors.  I'd say keep them!

awesome yellow and contrast.  and very good scan.

Thank you.  I can't take any credit for the scan, it's all the Pakon.  Kodak had some interesting stuff going on under the hood.  Such a shame it's no longer made.  They were really, really on point with color.

Thanks, once I posted I realised I just couldn't see the clown/suntanned lady any more! So quick edit, to switch in a different shot, but not quick enough :D

Technically, it's all Greater Lancashire... seeing as the left side of the Pennines won a certain civil war.
