Time passes and I realize that the longer it goes, the more I like the film,

and I did not take my digital cameras. There is an artistic side of the film , like the flower photos I posted

Your opinion?

Ingrid should try to make black and white film, she who loves black and white :)

I reproach to digital b&w images, the flat side without nuances, cut edges with a scalpel, not sweet like the film

same for the color, where it must go through a photo processing software

Another criticism for digital, the lack depth , a lack relief , therefore "flat" as I said !

the dynamics of the film is much higher and can be seen in photo against the light ie contre-jour :)

Absolutely agree with you Henry, although since my M240 I'm shooting more digital than ever.

It's the way it works. Not too different from my MP apart from the final results.

It's a great camera I take with me every day and it leaves me a bit more time for spending it with my son. :)

Thanks Allen for your comment :).

Which is nice in the color film, I have absolutely no need for software correction as most of my photos posted here

The measuring cell M7 also contributes to the good exposure ... and the film itself

I'm thinking to buy another M (in addition to my M7) and instead of M240, I will pay an MP

For Ingrid :) and for you Allen....:)

With film we are already manipulating color / looks with the type of film and the way we under or overexpose. You can do the same with scanning, I see huge differences with Portra for instance whilst scanning in Silverfast.

You won't be disappointed with an MP. Actually, I'm considering a second MP to replace my M6 with. I just love that viewfinder!

In addition to my M7 (and soon MP), I have this SLR (1970) that I use :)

the Panzer SLR of Leica... the best camera for faithful color , like my vacuum amplifier for sound :)

.... as to tell you ,I have Leica equipment from the head to the foot :D

Thank you Allen for the advice of MP !
