More trees ...

Not sure if this was with my Voigtlander 15mm or Zeiss 21. I should take a notebook out with me ... I was thinking of  a small recording machine but with filters, lightmeter and lenses it just becomes one more item to carry and probably drop.

Nice David

We have the same kind of  photo  :)

No trees or sheep in this one!  At the indoor market - 'Taste of Africa' does not look exactly appetising or tempting...  M7, C-Sonnar 50mm, HP5+, Rodinal.

Your photographs with the XA are excellent.

I found an Olympus XA while clearing out my late father's house and have not got round to using it yet. But based on what I can see here, it will be a tremendous little performer. It make you wonder if you need a Leica ... ?

It is a great performer I think. And considerably smaller than my M3&6, and even than my CL. So that's why my XA is always in my coat when walking my dogs. Not as good as the CL + 40 summicron, but easier to have on me. And the best camera is the one that... well, you know!

So I'll guess it won't disappoint you!

So many fantastic photos have poured in on this thread that I'm agog. I haven't looked in for a few days and the number of pages of sheer quality added makes great viewing and reading. Thanks to you all.

In keeping with the recent flavour, here's my tree, in colour.

Taken in Christchurch, New Zealand (probably 2002) with FM3a and the diminutive Nikkor 45mm f 2.8. Fuji Reala 100.

Trees seem to be popular today :) This one is from my latest roll of HP5+ (M7 & C-Sonnar 50mm). An old oak that is well past its prime at Westonbirt Arboretum. Taken on a lovely sunny late January morning.

We all seem to be attracted to trees, I think there is probably a tree shot on most of my rolls
