A miller Posted February 7, 2016 Share #10761 Posted February 7, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sorry Guys, off topic I know. But how do I edit a post thats already been edited.. Getting really fed up with broken flickr links.. I think you have an hour from your initial post on this forum to make as many edits as you want. I don't link from Flickr so can't add anything helpful on this unfortunate frustration...

philipus Posted February 7, 2016 Share #10762 Posted February 7, 2016 Could it be that you link to the image page (for instance this one in your stream) rather than the image file itself (right-click on the appropriate size shown on a page like this one and click copy image address or something similar). The former won't work in the image field brought up by the icon that looks like a polaroid photo. Sorry Guys, off topic I know. But how do I edit a post thats already been edited.. Trev Posted February 7, 2016 Share #10769 Posted February 7, 2016 Trev, I'm not Flickr user but I find it strange that sometimes images disappear and are no longer visible You know the reason you ? In any case thanks for sharing. How to make the transfer , with a link? or by putting the photo directly on LF ? Best Henry I think you have an hour from your initial post on this forum to make as many edits as you want. I don't link from Flickr so can't add anything helpful on this unfortunate frustration... Could it be that you link to the image page (for instance this one in your stream) rather than the image file itself (right-click on the appropriate size shown on a page like this one and click copy image address or something similar). The former won't work in the image field brought up by the icon that looks like a polaroid photo. Thanks for your help. I'm linking to the image directly. Been doing this for a few years now. Seems the problem is with Flickr, breaks the link then arbitrarily restores it. Perhaps it's just a phase it's going through....mutter...mutter...

Hardster Posted February 7, 2016 Share #10771 Posted February 7, 2016 Castlerigg, Cumbria. On a grey, blustery November day the light was too flat and 'cold' for the Velvia 50 that was loaded in the camera so I made some images with monochrome conversion in mind. The heavy sky was too good to let go. Fuji GX617 Fuji Velvia 50 Lee .9 soft nd grad. Thanks Honcho. Great image. I've also had the pleasure of those amazing, moody skies at Castlerigg. There's always a risk of getting very wet too! Regards Hardy
lleo Posted February 7, 2016 Share #10772 Posted February 7, 2016 Sorry Guys, off topic I know. But how do I edit a post thats already been edited.. Getting really fed up with broken flickr links.. Yep, Trev, as the others suggested, you could upload the pics here. However, when you have the pics on a certain website, click on the pic itself to be sure it's the final place and it has the final dimension (sometimes the pic is shown smaller on a page and bigger on the following page), right click and choose "show image" or something like that. Then, copy the url and paste it here.
lleo Posted February 7, 2016 Share #10773 Posted February 7, 2016 (edited) Daymark, Lindisfarne. Fuji GSW690iii Ilford Delta 400 Heliopan R25 There's much more to Holy Island than boat sheds and a castle. Wonderfully peaceful place to spend time when the incoming tide forces day trippers and pilgrims to leg it back across the causeway before being marooned. Holy place. Like Adam's office, or even more, I'll spend my day sitting there staring at the view. Edited February 7, 2016 by lleo
