Gary, I wrote a user report some time ago on the GSW690iii. Should give you a feel for the camera if you haven't handled one yet.  Link here:  http://www.uklandscapephotographer.com/fuji-gsw690iii-medium-format-rangefinder-camera/

Kinder Downfall blowback on a bitterly cold January day.

Fuji GSW690iii

Ilford Delta 100

Heliopan O22

Delta 100 is one of, if not the best, monochrome films for pictorial subjects but it's weakness is with reciprocity failure after between 1-2 seconds.   Scans beautifully.

Apologies to you and everybody else as I seem to ask a question a day at the moment ! and thanks to all for your patience and kind responses.

When you say reciprocity failure - do you find that Delta 100 tends not to follow the standard reciprocity plot shown in the Ilford factsheets ? I must admit I never quite believe the time required for long exposures and tend to bracket.

The Pan F shot is more to my liking. I can't describe it, but feel the perspective in the Velvia either too close or too wide - if you get what I mean

Here comes a test shot from the first roll out of my lately acquired Ricoh GR1s. Nice little cam with a very good 28mm lens, but it is a bit defective. At first it wouldn't wind up a film, then only half way, in the end I had three or four rolls of film eaten up by the cam before I was able to shoot one roll completely. Will give it another try soon :)

Konica Centurion 100 out of fridge

It was a camera recommended to myself, it seems to have become a cult camera now like the Contax T series. When I was looking for a second pocketable camera to compliment my M7 I often bid on a GR1v or s, only to be out bid quite quickly. They always fetch north of £300, well, the workings one anyway. I ended up getting an Olympus mjuii. Does the job - see below.

That is a shame it does not work; there are few things worse than receiving a much anticipated purchase only to find it defunct !

I am in contact with the seller and we will find an agreement. I am sure, the cam will deliver good results when I have found out the quirks. As mentioned before, the price was not that high, way below the price they are usualy sold for. The mju is still on my list, maybe later this year :)

No need to apologise, we all had to learn, I never stop learning and I'm more than happy to help (it's digital camera gear Know-it-Alls that I can't stand and this thread is refreshingly free of them! :D ).  The available Ilford info is a guide to quite a limited point and when compensating for longer exposures I use this app: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/reciprocity-timer/id459691262?mt=8 which you should find useful.

You're doing right in bracketing, too.

There's much more to Holy Island than boat sheds and a castle.  Wonderfully peaceful place to spend time when the incoming tide forces day trippers and pilgrims to leg it back across the causeway before being marooned.

A somewhat impressionistic view of the cloisters at Lacock Abbey.  Rolleicord Vb with Velvia 100 - which meant a shutter speed of 1/8sec in order to retain a modicum of DoF!  Nothing ventured, nothing gained so camera at waist-level, pull down hard to tension the neck strap as much as possible, exhale, tense stomach muscles and squeeze...

I use this as well and find it very good.  In certain cases it even gives a couple different alternative times in cases in which there is not clear consensus.   I have no way of verifying the accuracy times but usually if the shot doesn't come out it not b/c of the APP...

The app is also efficient for checking out which films have good RF tolerances.
