The slide must be really gorgeous!

Thank you !!!

The slide looks good. The colours are a lot richer than what I could see in the scan. I shot two frames, bracketing by half a stop. This is the second with a lower EV.

This is a standard lab scan, I might add.

Astounding tones and that shaft of sunlight, what a sense of depth to the composition. Quite timeless.

Thank you sincerely Rog. Following on from our previous conversations about 3D photos and the effect of an in-focus figuret with an out-of-focus ground, this seemed to be a reasonable example of that effect without the use of extraneous devices. Medium format 6X7 helps a lot, too.

This palette and the classic use of foreground shadow brings to mind George Innes and the Barbizon school of landscape painting in the late 19th century. Edgar Alwin Payne also used foreground shadowing in some of his California impressionist seascapes, such as "The Restless Sea." It's interesting that your cows here are certainly making eye contact with you.

I hope that guy in the middle did not Head contact with him a few seconds later ;)

I seem to remember they ran before I could. The sound of that 6X7 Bronica firing would have been enough to do that!
