Thank you for your nice impressions from your trip to Japan. The one time I was there I loved the peacefulness of the parks and temples. When we visited the Ryoanji Temple, even busloads of unruly schoolchildren amply disturbed the atmosphere. A teacher asked us, where are you from? As no-one outside Europe knows the name of the city we live in we answered Amsterdam. Oh he said, you come from Denmark ...

I can fully imagine the scene! I really enjoy visiting Japan and interacting with people there. It is also very photo friendly.

Looks very salty! 🙂. Seriously, are atmospheric/environmental conditions creating this highly effective look, or was it the light?

Looks like a scanning phenomenon to me. Flatbed scanner? Just a thought.

Agapanthas across the road

Hasselblad 203FE & 250mm Tele-Tessar lens.

Shooting OOD TriX @ 300iso dated 2004.

Film has base fog that would be difficult to darkroom print, but scanned OK.

I forgot to mention film - it's absolutely gorgeous Rollei Crossbird 200 in CS41. I found it on eBay, just a few rolls and after first trials trying to find more, without any success.
