Note 1: Wow, something seems to be seriously wrong with colour management here. Compared to when I look at this photo in Photos on iPad, the colours look a lot less vivid here.  Need to check the profile in my JPGs though I’d be surprised if it wasn‘t sRGB. 

Note 2: My mistake indeed when I converted from a 16 bit TIFF to JPG, I left the profile as ProPhotoRGB. No wonder the colours look flat when here they are being interpreted as sRGB - which is my assumption.
