A wonderful shot. It looks well worth rescanning to remove sharpening artefacts - or is that just the forum upload process?

Another lens that does not seem to get much fanfare is the fairly tiny Summarit-M 35mm 2.5. Bargain price.

Absolutely... Same procedure, it´s got the same despicable character: just does what it learned and was told  to do  in Wetzlar-- and that  with a low profile. I have one, the ugly duckling among the arrogant FLE  ( "I´m  simply the best" ) and a rare  chrome Cron asph LTM  ... If I want flare and busy background and a hefty weight  I choose the Cron, if I want perfect (for the price of size ) the FLE. But the S´rit 35 is the lens I take when I have no specific  plans, it will just do the job..

All with a grain of salt please. I´m polemising..... These choices are important. 😇

Not the first time I see this one (probably from another thread), but definitely happy to see it again. Same as the first time I saw it, I keep coming back to look at the individuals' expressions and actions. Such a great photography.

This is such a beautiful place. However, I was really impressed by the fact that this is built with a wood structure. It can hold such a crowd!

Thanks - yes, I pull it out every few years as it is also a favorite of mine and it makes me happy to post it…

Thank you - the over-sharpening is most likely my fault through overzealous post processing back in the day trying to get out the expressions but your idea to dig up the neg and try a re-scan and re-do is a good idea…
