Have a good and safe trip Henry, my dear wife and I spend some a time in Asia especially Thailand.

Never had any problems with my film Leicas, over some frequent trips I have taken my R8, R9 and last trip the M7.

Packed with my Leicas I use Provia 100 pro slide film, simply a superb combination.

High humidity, un-like me has never effected my film or cameras, I have been ringing wet with the heat and humidity but my Film Leicas never complained just carried on....lol.

Good Luck.

Ken.

The endless que when I was in Paris every time has always stopped me from visiting it Henry.

I loved to visit Musee de l'Orangerie.

Haven't been in Paris a couple of years now. Have to put it on the list again. :)

Hi Tooka you are welcome

Orangerie Museum is next to the Louvre Museum. Very nice place to visit in summer or spring :)

another place to visit is Nantes

Castle of the Dukes of Brittany 13th century (high speed train : one hour from Paris)

@Gary nice area Carlat traditional region of Auvergne :)

To improve the contrast of the leaves in the foreground and the rendering of this picture against the light (contre-jour) , I pushed to 3200 Isos

Your opinion ?

continuation

this is the same photo taken with M8 and 35 LA , Etretat cliffs west side

without any correction ... the choice is made : Film superiority

for the atmosphere (specially color) of shooting of this cloudy day, gray sky and windy weather

Your opinion ?

I'd go for film Henry.

Must say, looking at the photo out of the M8, I think it can easily be turned into a great version with just a little post processing. :)

Yes Tooka right , but i don't have the same atmosphere like wet pebbles.... color different too
