Going through a box of old negatives and transparencies recently, I noticed many of them are keepers vs what I’d get from digital. Don’t know why.

When I pulled the transparencies onto the light box, oh wow! What a rush. I instantly though damn, I need to shoot large format slide film at some point. I can’t imagine how amazing that could be.

Film 100% has something about it. It’s not resolution, it’s not better, it’s different. And I love it - but can’t warrant the cost.

Always by my side. Best friend, Baron. Premiere with my "new" Leica M4 (mentioned in "Back to basics" in the Leica film thread), Super Angulon 3.4. FP4+, D76.Plustek scan. Thanks everyone for the encouraging comments in this thread on my dusty old negs. That made me go back to film again. I really love the pace of working with film. Though I will also continue with my M10M. :))

Congratulations on making that first massive step to getting back to film, Bo. Looking forward to seeing lots of dusty new negs. And hopefully some more of Baron!

As cliché as it is, just can't hold back on the shutter finger when it comes to real steel on the street. a sort of rat rod.

I looked it up online to find it was a 1959 Chevy Pickup. I didn't see any models, however, with the fog lamps, an interesting touch.
