I saw Bruce Gilden's 2 years ago in Derby when he was shooting on the streets for an exhibition at the Format Festival very dirty and scruffy but stitching and straps were still in perfect order

The last picture in color (Kodak Portra 400) had no correction (I rarely correct my photos)

Kodak color film in general is deep and rich sometimes vivid , look like these pictures

from a Sigma DP 3 Merrill with sensor Foveon (3 layers red-green-blue)

Sigma DP3 Merrill : 50 mm f/2,8 Macro (equ. 75 mm)

Sigma DP3 Merrill : 50 mm f/2,8 Macro (equ. 75 mm)

Sigma DP3 Merrill : 50 mm f/2,8 Macro (equ. 75 mm)

or DP2

SIGMA DP2 Merrill (2)

Fine particles exhaust diesel cars and trucks + dioxin smoke etc.... : this is what we breathe regularly in the city

GS does not know these problems isn't ?

Nice photos Henry.

Having serious doubts adding an M8 to my film bodies now. Have been shooting a couple of hours with one with my Elmarit 2,8/28 on it.

Colorwise the skin tones remind me of Portra.

M9 would make me a lot more flexible with the lenses I already own, but it's a 1500 bonus on top of a used M8.

Tough one...

Thank you Tooka

I've always said that the M8 is a good camera with a good quality / price ratio

The rest of the money you have to buy good lens as the summilux or Summicron.

M8 and M9 have colors that are very similar the Kodak Portra : Erwin Puts said this is "vivid".

This is logical since it is Kodak that makes the sensor

I have worked on building sites for 30+ year and probably breathed in asbestos but so far my breathing is perfect never smoked which helps
