And how long did the battery of the M7 last in these low temperatures? 😑

And how long did the battery of the M7 last in these low temperatures? 😑 Hi Christoph, I travelled to Antarctica in 2010. The M7 batteries lasted well, all day. However, changing film wearing two pairs of gloves was an issue. The one thing I forgot, before leaving home was to tie a a short piece of wool to the bottom release catch so I could just pull it (with gloves on) to open the catch. Consequently I had to remove the gloves from one hand to get a thumbnail into the catch in the usual manner. The M8 and M9 both needed constant battery swapping through the day. Not an issue as putting the battery back into a 'warm' pocket brought it back to life for a bit more service. 3

Thanks, Ken. I picked up an "Eggleston" Mamiya Press Universal with a Mamiya-Sekor 100 and shot some E100 with a 6x9 back, so I can appreciate where you are going with your Fuji GSW69iii. That E100 is astounding, so I think you are going to give your Fuji a workout. Cheers, Rog

There's so much to choose from. I just checked out some photos with your camera on Flickr: they're amazing! Is it relatively easy to hand-hold with 100 ISO film?
