Once a year, our monuments are open free for a visit. I have profited this weekend to go take pictures of this old chapel former Jesuit school (1870) which has just been renovated.

The stained glass windows and the sun sometimes give a strange and unusual color very difficult to reproduce. I have not corrected the photo film because the picture is such that I see. By against with my digital 2M, this is not the case. The match between digital against film is to the advantage of the film in terms of color level and general rendering !

Our puppy Fritz, on his first day home, earlier this summer.   He was a bit worried and needed a cuddle.

I'm loving shooting film because of what it does. This is just a weed growing in a State Park where I live but the quality of the colors and feel of the shot is due to the fact that it's film. It just did what it did. I only added a bit of contrast and a vignette and that's it.

My wife took this (brand new film shooter and photo enthusiast in general) and she was pretty proud of this one.

RP I like the "blur" side and vivid color of this picture

and the nice bokeh in background
