rpavich Posted September 19, 2015 Share #6886 Posted September 19, 2015 I think I found a combination of developer and time/temp that I'm happy with using Kentmere 400 @400.I developed these using the Rondinax 35U and HC-110 for 5 minutes at 68F.I like the combination of soft grain and detail.Shot 1:My wife used to make fun of me taking pictures of my food but now, now that she's got her own camera and likes taking pictures, I caught her doing this at Burger King! This is Vicki, a really nice woman who works with my wife...she's a real ham when it comes to photos.Breakfast this morning.

rpavich Posted September 21, 2015 Share #6895 Posted September 21, 2015 Two from the weekend.1.) Apples being washed in the sink. 2.) Gracie the wonder-pug.Minolta SRT101 Fuji Superia X-tra 400 Kodak Pakon F135 Plus. THIS is why I love shooting film. I've spent LOTS of money on LR presets to get these two looks out of my digi-rig and all it takes now a days is a $2.35 roll of film.

A miller Posted September 21, 2015 Share #6897 Posted September 21, 2015 This shot is spectacular thanks, Gary. Very kind, indeed. This structure is a candy store for compositions. I only had about an hour during a sunset to shoot it, and I found myself with excessively long exposures that sucked up the time I had. I will be spending lots more time at this place on future visits (provided my family lets me lose for the necessary time )
gsgary Posted September 21, 2015 Share #6898 Posted September 21, 2015 More Double X shot by mistake at iso400 but this time stand developed, still rubbish but a bit better i think i must have under exposed them or the film has not been kept well, i have got another roll i shot at iso200 that i will develope tonight and see what happens

Doc Henry Posted September 22, 2015 Author Share #6900 Posted September 22, 2015 Once a year, our monuments are open free for a visit. I have profited this weekend to go take pictures of this old chapel former Jesuit school (1870) which has just been renovated. The stained glass windows and the sun sometimes give a strange and unusual color very difficult to reproduce. I have not corrected the photo film because the picture is such that I see. By against with my digital 2M, this is not the case. The match between digital against film is to the advantage of the film in terms of color level and general rendering !
