As I said above, from what I see with my eyes, the most faithful colors are in the film

two photos taken at the same place at the same time (apart from lens)

Tooka, about colors of M8 and M9 , the weather changed very quickly, within minutes, clouds, rain storm and little sun. This photo below shows you that eventually colors look like the M9. However, for me, the autumn colors of the film are more faithful and accurate :)

Love the b/w photo Henry.

Here I have one shot during my daily walk with the dogs. One of those moments I start doubting if I should sell the dslr, but on the other hand I know I wouldn't take it with me because of it's size. 35mm Proves to impossible to capture a bird though. ;)

Really love the light this time of year when the sun is slowly on its way back to bed. One of those rare moments I prefer color to black and white.

Most Dutch people i have met are very laid back and very friendly towards the British we were in a bar in Brada and was not allowed to buy a drink all night the same happened in Alkmar

Gary, I know what you mean, although this photo was taken in Antwerp, about 40 minutes from where I live. ;)

People in Belgium are also friendly.

Personally, I love UK, their car madness and their uk brands. Just a shame London is a 5+ hours drive for me including the channel tunnel.

A few more from friendly Antwerp:

Dear all contributors, and especially Henry

I've just discovered this thread, it took me some time to go through, and I like what I see. I am perhaps not 100% in agreement with all that's being said here, but then, for now at least, I am only photographing using film. My criteria has been: would I make any better photos using digital, and, for me, for now, the answer is NO.

I particularly like the streets and scenes of Paris (and France in general), and I envy you, Henry for your photographic opportunities, and how well you are able to convert the things you see into memorable images. I spend much too little time there!

Anyway, keep this going

Best regards

Christoph
