Sounds like you need to increase the development time a little. I'll PM you the recipe (for the bread, not the development).

Norally, exposure controls shadow detail, while development time controls contrast. I would be suspicious of under exposure. In C41, XP2's inherent speed is 200. I wouldn't expect HC110 to change that.

 

Hmm.

 

Both the films I have tried so far were shot in my new to me Olympus XA2, I wonder if it has metering problems? I'm about to finish a roll of Tri-X in it so I'll see soon.
