Hi , for choice of camera, an interesting review here :

I like his algorithm  :)

...besides the fact the M5 does have a brass top and in the description he repeats the same inaccuracies regarding the batteries we have already seen here.

Hi Daniel - Yes, after scanning, I work with the flat scan in LR to bring it back to life, and at the end I apply some NR and sharpening in LR, the amount of which varies according to the image.  Best, Adam

Nice shot this last one

Adam, for photos in general and especially portraits, your photos are outstanding.

They release extreme softness, I do not know what gives it, your post-processing  ?

The colors are also very beautiful, better compared to digital images in general rendering. :)

How do you do in LR, your rules : temperature, color, brightness, contrast etc ....?

Thanks for sharing Adam.

Cheers

Henry

You're hard with Michael Fraser

It has the merit to distinguish which like to use the light meter or not

there has info that I do not know

Here is a picture of friends of our intersyndicate (inter-union)  in Kodak Portra 160.

Loyal friends who fight for justice in hospital care for all , regardless of race, religion and

financial resources !

For maintaining of public hospitals, not closing them for the private !
I love them because without them the care will be like in some countries (including USA)

Homage to the team

Thanks very much, Henry.  I really am not the best person to provide advice on processing.  I take a very individualized approach to each image, which, after setting the white points, black points and highlights in the tone curve, to bring the image back to life after a brief period of flatness from the scan, apply very localized adjustments to achieve the rendering that I think best optimizes the image.  It is not very scientific and I am sure not the best way to do it or the best result that is possible!

Thanks again,

Adam

Adam, thanks for your reply.

Forgot something important in my remarks on your street photo is the camera M-A lens included ,  it can also be responsible for the quality of tonality and general rendering,

and also do not forget the most important thing , is the talent of the photographer who chooses the best camera angle depending on the light, the choice of the place

Well, my bike looks better, no matter how big it is! :p

Alternatively I can also show up this one:

For this photographer, no I'm not familiar with him, but I see some good shots of London, where I'll probably on Saturday on the hunt for some spree shooting: it should be sunny.

Isn't the engine noise supposed to sound like "potato potato"? It always sounds like "sausages sausages" to me. I never thought I'd ever write sausages sausages.

Henry,

If I remember correctly Harley Davidson tried to trademark the engine sound (noise may actually be the better description  :)) - as far as I know they actually never succeeded and in the end gave up. The sound was seen by many as generic to V-engined motorcycles...

Very impressive Harley Davidson (HD) engine evolution

You are right for V engine :)

look at this link in french but very easy to understand

http://www.passion-harley.fr/Technic/Moteurs/Moteurs.htm

1- watch the evolution of the engine ("HD history" dailymotion)

2- and for each type of engine

go on the tableFlathead - Knuckle-Head ... Twin Cam

click the green arrow at left to hear the engine noise

I like the sound of "Evolution"

Best
