Popular Post B.Toews Posted August 16, 2017 Popular Post Share #38368 Â Posted August 16, 2017 Congrats for your new acquisition of the M7 the fastest camera as said Raymond Depardon You'll see a great camera Brendan and also great picture like this one Grey tone and grains are superb Simple and beautiful Henry Thank you Henry! Â I am really enjoying the M7, the 0.85 viewfinder is excellent for use with a 50 and the AE can be quite useful for shooting in fast-paced situations. Â I received a 28mm external viewfinder in the mail this morning and shot with that for a few hours this afternoon and was quite pleased with the experience. Â I feel like the 0.85 M7 along with my M3 will make for the perfect bodies to use with a 28/50 combo going forward. Â Great one, Brendan. Thank you Adam! Â This IS art, fantastic too. I'm sure there's no PP going on here, looks like mist and I'm wondering if it's a picture of a print. I love the grain. Grain done artistically is the main attraction for me. God, I wish I could produce stuff like this!!! Really appreciate the comment Steve! Â Yes, this was fog over the lake. Â Minimal PP here, just my usual dust cloning and contrast adjustments. Â This is also a negative scan, still don't have a darkroom printing setup ready, but will hopefully be able to get started on that in around two weeks from now. Doc Henry Posted August 16, 2017 Author Share #38376  Posted August 16, 2017 @ all of You: this is the second time the thread tells me I reached my "thanks" limit for today... so You know why I could not put "thanks" under many beautiful pictures. Paul: Your series are overwhelming. But Brendan, Ian, Henry , fotomas, philipus and all: great great pictures !!! @ Henry: - I only have some 120 rolls of that Agfa film, I do not know if it existed in 35mm... But the Kodak Gold 200 I find in the neighbourhood shop is not that bad, actually. Doc Henry Posted August 16, 2017 Author Share #38378  Posted August 16, 2017 Walking around this afternoon I came upon this old doorway.  I was using my Leica 111F for no other reason that of all the Leicas I think that this one is my personal favourite. It's 63 years old and still working faultlessly - built like a jewel from an age where compromise and plastic were never even considered. What a gorgeous camera - it's just a joy to use!  The lens was the 50mm Elmar and film was Fomapan 200 developed in D76 stock.  Superb black and grey tone Paul Yes you're right . IIIf is still a good and solid camera Keep it and don't sell please ! It has no price http://www.summilux.net/avis/LeicaIIIf.html  Thank you for posting Best Henry
