Doc Henry Posted August 15, 2017 Author Share #38343 Â Posted August 15, 2017 (edited) Another Isle of Wight landscape with the trusty 28 Summaron-M and Portra 400 combination. Limerstone Down (my destination) in the distance. Â Â Compton Bay is one of the best beaches in England IMO and suitably popular. However, if you arrive at about 5.30am you get the whole beach to yourself. The town of Freshwater Bay in the distance is just starting to catch the sun as it rises above the downs. Â Â Sublime color Ian In picture 1 : color of the grass , the hill and the shadow great composition and great color In picture 2 : color of sand , cliffs and sky are beautiful ... I don't say that with digital believe me Thank you for posting Ian Beautiful landscapes Best Henry Ian , is Isle of Wight where you have a festival every year ? Paul: Your series are overwhelming. But Brendan, Ian, Henry , fotomas, philipus and all: great great pictures !!! @ Henry: - I only have some 120 rolls of that Agfa film, I do not know if it existed in 35mm... But the Kodak Gold 200 I find in the neighbourhood shop is not that bad, actually.
