I used one at the office for some years. When I changed my job I tried to convince my wife to use it at home, but she didn't like the mill and the process of brewing, so Mr. Clooney won her heart. My Silvia found a new lover when I recommended her to a good friend of mine, who uses the machine on a daily basis. My favourite coffee is Manaresi in gold. We have common interests, Henry. Good coffee, good sound with vinyl, analog photos... but I don't have a tube amp for my hifi - MOSFET, close, but believe me, I would if I could. Also I occasionally shoot with a digital cam and have several. Forgive me

christoph_d Posted August 7, 2017 Share #37850 Posted August 7, 2017 Neopan 400 does seem to be able to handle very well subtle shifts in grey tones. R5, 60mm Macro Elmarit-R, Rodinal. ... But also handles stark blacks & whites very well too ... Keith, I am sure it's not the film but the developer that kills the grey tones for you. "Telewatt" (jan Scheffner) in the German speaking forum did use Neopan 400 a lot in the past, and achieved 100 ASA film likeness terms of graininess and grayscale. And then I see that you know this already !!! Oh well, it looks nice in Rodinal as well Rgds C.

Thank you Color implosion I just saw this film in Fotoimpex Berlin Best Henry Thank you Henry, I am glad you like these. I recommend Color Implosion as a film worth trying. However, I think one has to experiment with it and to learn to use it at it's strengths; it is certainly not an all-round film I used it exclusively for this 2 weeks trip through Italy - well, until I ran out of it - no chance to get it locally. Christoph, I was commenting positively about the fine tonal gradations in the gravestone and particularly the leaves around its base, so I do not understand the "kills the grey tones"! Yes, in large areas of similar tones such as sky, grain is more evident but normally I would not use Neopan for landscapes. In any case, there is only one more roll left in the freezer! Two images from the High St on the Neopan (R5 & 60mm Macro Elmarit-R) A little piece of local history The Cross Keys
