Timeless Scene Take 2  Hasselblad 500C, 80mm Planar (with yellow/green filter), Fomapan 100, Rodinal.

And now for something completely different.  Trying out the Distagon 60mm CB at its closest focussing distance. 500C & Fomapan100.  Am quite impressed by the way Fomapan reproduces blacks, as here and particularly in the door featured earlier.

Need to sort out my in-tray...

Captures the atmosphere of the location & time very well indeed.

Great colour images, Henry!  My wife and I visited there some years ago and it was virtually impossible to raise a camera to one's eye due to the sheer crush from the tour groups from Asia - bad timing on our part   :(

Super viewpoint and colours.

on the Pennine Way England/Scotland, June 2015 - waterfalls on the Tee River (tiny people below) - near Forest in Teasdale - the M4 with Summitar, which I took for sentimental reasons - most of the time I used the Fuji X100s which was around my neck and hooked to my pack - but I keep looking at these film shots ...

Thank you Michael for your comment :)

All wonderful to look at Henry - and the colours are so restrained compared to 'cooked' Jpegs.  The horses, the road and the trees is particularly lovely.

Thank you Dan :)

These are lovely. I particularly like the first. Complex with a small hint of ambiguity.

For Michael :)

Kodak Portra film has really a great sensitivity and all details with color are preserved .

I just want to know if the ceiling keeps the color rendering with only 160 Isos  :)

Kodak has found in the Portra series ,  one of the best color film in the world IMO

Very cool perspective, Adam. For me, it's a tie or possibly just a tiny bit in favour of the colour version. But it's close.

Here's the Tri-X version :)

You processed this one in a very cool way, I think.
