And now for something completely different. Trying out the Distagon 60mm CB at its closest focussing distance. 500C & Fomapan100. Am quite impressed by the way Fomapan reproduces blacks, as here and particularly in the door featured earlier. Need to sort out my in-tray...

Keith (M) Posted August 1, 2017 Share #37384 Posted August 1, 2017 Captures the atmosphere of the location & time very well indeed. Doc Henry Posted August 1, 2017 Author Share #37389 Posted August 1, 2017 Thank you Michael for your comment All wonderful to look at Henry - and the colours are so restrained compared to 'cooked' Jpegs. The horses, the road and the trees is particularly lovely. Thank you Dan Fontainebleau castle July 2017 Welcome, dear visitor! Doc Henry Posted August 1, 2017 Author Share #37391 Posted August 1, 2017 These are lovely. I particularly like the first. Complex with a small hint of ambiguity. For Michael Kodak Portra film has really a great sensitivity and all details with color are preserved . I just want to know if the ceiling keeps the color rendering with only 160 Isos Kodak has found in the Portra series , one of the best color film in the world IMO Fontainebleau Castle A dome July 2017 Welcome, dear visitor! philipus Posted August 1, 2017 Share #37394 Posted August 1, 2017 Terrific photo Keith, hilarious. Very clever creatures. Timeless Scene Take 2 Hasselblad 500C, 80mm Planar (with yellow/green filter), Fomapan 100, Rodinal. Very cool perspective, Adam. For me, it's a tie or possibly just a tiny bit in favour of the colour version. But it's close. Here's the Tri-X version You processed this one in a very cool way, I think. time piece.
