Sublime tonal range.  Sometimes low contrast is just better.

Photos in post #37196 were with the 60mm Macro Elmarit so here is one trying out the 35mm Elmarit-R III.

This is really lovely, Henry.   Excellent skills is brining it all together.

One picture for example with Elmarit 135

Love them all, Steve, I knew the Cinestill 800T was better of in your hands :). And I love the B&W photos, as well, with the very last being my fav.

The other night at Smoke Jazz Club in NYC, B&W is Ilford HP5+pushed one stop and the color is Cinestill 800 ..... yes Adam's shmootz film (I think this was a role he gave me in London a few months back). The shots are a mix of MA with 50mm summilux and Leica 6.2 with summicron 90mm (color is all Summicron, B/W is a mix). Its the Dave Stryker quartet (Dave is the guitarist and Steve Slagle is on the alto sax) ....

last one .... appreciate the patience in taking up so many pages .... thanks all!

Very lovely exploitation of amazing light.  I'll bet the colors were really nice, but you made the B&W rendition sing!

Really cool, Gary.  You might want to consider crushing the black points a tiny bit more.  The scene made me laugh :)

Very colourful indeed. I like the way the top right corner has been used.

Makes me feel a bit nostalgic when you go up on the downs. If your joints are up to it, I recommend a climb up Liddington Hill. BTW, have you tried the macro aspect of the Macro Elmarit-R 60 yet?

Thank you very much for your comments, Adam :)

Indeed your photos of NY street art are really superb. Great colors and pop, and also excellent documentation of this form of popular art.

Let me be the first to compliment you on your "vanishing lines" and schmootz-free Cinestill 50. :). Lovely greens and golden tinge.

Very amusing photo with excellent exposure.  The eyes are really drawn to the chest and stomach, which happen to be the most interesting parts of the scene, imho.

Woke up at 4:30am to hit this scene of the Old City of Jerusalem at sunrise only to find out once i got there that the light around the scene that i wanted to shoot isn't so good at sunrise, at least not this time of year. I did manage to blow through a roll of Ektar, though. I mostly used a combo of the 2x teleconverter and my 250mm superachromat and my 80mm planar.

Wont have any scans for another month or so. But here is what the set up and scene looked like with my iphone. It's one if my family's favorite places in Jerusalem to have a picturesque walk.
