Nice results, Eoin.  I especially like the second - has film written all over it.  Love the contrast and colors.

Bangkok (Canon New F1 w/ FD 17mm - Ektar 100)...

I'm all for people coming out to the PRIDE parade and being proud for who they are.  No one is more supportive than me in this regard.  Having said this, I think this guy might be a little too proud....of his back hair that is.   :o

Excellent shot. I didn't know there's a close-up kit with the Mamiya lenses. Must be quite handy to have.

Philip and Fotomas , I agree excellent shot :)

In all cases Philip, I think the picture is greater and superior than the image for example of the S or SL

at the level of the "color fidelity" and "consistency" * due to film ,

* The flower has a "matter", not flat .It can be seen that the printing of the image is done on "several layers"

of silver grains and not of something like the monolayer of the sensor.

The closeup-kit is a kind of bizarre accessories.

You have to mount a rack with a frame to the Mamiya. In combination with a special closeup lens all in the frame is in focus. Usage is quite fun. You didn't even have to look trough the viewfinder. But it's a fixfocus then.

This is how it looks (sorry digital):
