Leica IIIf - Kodak 400TriX

Still Life on my desk with Dürer's Hare and a non-identified camera ;-)

Not sharp enough, and could be better - but for reasons of "feeling" I like the photo.

Thanks, Phil.  I am beginning to think that the SWC and Manhattan are a good match  :p

Adam, oh Adam... this is brilliant. As a series this will just be spectacular. As an individual image - well, you've raised the bar to stratospheric heights.

Neil - 10 gagillion times better.  Don't you agree?

Burned in just a wee bitty on the left........I had another picture that I took at the mosque that looked like there was a light leak on the left lower corner, I will take notes of what film holder that I use just incase that is the problem

Better??????

I re posted my video just incase you want to watch it again :) :)

Very interesting, James.  Looks like skyfire!

Somehow I like the colors in this one, despite the light leak...

Nice one, Christoph.  Is that an M5 I see with my magnifying glass?  Very cool!

A little red devil.

As much as I am a definite believer in mono Adam, the colours shots seem to have more oomph, for obvious reasons.

This, while lovely, pales when you compare it to the colour shots.

Well, then, Gary, I guess I should have softened you up with the B&W!

Thanks for the opinion.  Always love to hear it!

Adam,

Your Magnifying glass did indeed see an M5. It's a fascinating camera that I greatly enjoy using. Its not as good as the other M's - and at the same time better :) . A few things work in the wrong way compared to, say an M6 - the rewind button, the exposure counter - it does feel bigger, I miss the 28mm frame in the viewfinder ... but then the lightmeter in the viewfinder works great, and changing the exposure times while keeping the camera at the eye is simply a joy ...

As to the B&W picture of yours: On my ipad screen the colour versions catch much more attention. However a well printed Baryt print may easily stand its own against your colour snaps. But then it is not a competition, but a different medium, both with their own distinctive characteristics.

Very nice indeed, Doc!

If I could make a suggestion: I'd crop the top slightly at the discontinuity of the wheat. But it is a fabulous image non the less.

Steve sincerily thank you for your advice  :)

... but I am planning and I took another pictures

I like so much poppies  and every year I run behind them :D

I  love the red of this flower and it's my reference of red

(red of arterial blood vivid , not veinous blood)

Here another picture always uncorrected (not like in digital , always must be corrected)

As you said , M5 is a great camera. Curiously the size of this camera is a little bigger than another M

like M3 and the form is not also the same.Is it a C 40 Summicron Christoph ?

Very nice and pure black with HP5 Ilford

Thank you for posting these two nice pictures
