wes54 Posted May 29, 2017 Share #33284 Posted May 29, 2017 (edited) The sky is a little faded, but the foreground is simply gorgeous. What gear and film, if I may ask? Adam, It was shot with an M6TTL , 50mm Summicron and Portra 400 .... it was taken in Le Marche Italy, on the way down from the village of Montottone. I agree about the sky...... was tempted to crop it out in Lightroom, but thought it was better in than out. Must remember to bring a polariser with me next time :-) Edited May 29, 2017 by wes54

Doc Henry Posted May 29, 2017 Author Share #33289 Posted May 29, 2017 (edited) Good hunting, Henry. Thank you Eoin For the red it's really this color , but for the green , wheat is in blooming and the color is not really green as you can imagine , but less vivid green Film reproduces really well this nuance without distortion , a good point for Kodak Portra. A miller Posted May 29, 2017 Share #33293 Posted May 29, 2017 Adam, It was shot with an M6TTL , 50mm Summicron and Portra 400 .... it was taken in Le Marche Italy, on the way down from the village of Montottone. I agree about the sky...... was tempted to crop it out in Lightroom, but thought it was better in than out. Must remember to bring a polariser with me next time :-) Thanks for the info. With 35mm, I think you've managed to expose the scene pretty damn well. I'll be that a wet print would retain a lot more detail in the sky. It is really lovely.

A miller Posted May 29, 2017 Share #33297 Posted May 29, 2017 o Is it just me, or do others also see a blueish picture. For me the white balance seems way off oh yes, but the interesting thing is that the color of the red is perfect. It is almost as if Henry has a pointer tool that instead of correcting the WB it corrects the color of red (with all other colors falling into a place as a result. I need that tool!
