chrism Posted April 24, 2017 Share #31239 Posted April 24, 2017 (edited) Just beautiful ! Which version of the Nikkor 85 you use ? I have two versions - that photo was with the old manual focus Nikkor-H Auto 85mm/f1.8. I use a Nikkor AF 85/1.4D on the F6, which is a much better lens in terms of wide-open sharpness. Some photos on that film were with the old manual focus Nikkor 50mm/f1.2 but they are very soft. Having had a Noctilux f1.0, I know it's not much use looking for anything comparable but hope springs eternal, so KEH is sending me a manual focus K-mount 50mm/f1.2 for the Pentax K2. One more with the 85/1.8: Bedside reading by chrism229, on Flickr Try as I might, the stack of books on the bedside table waiting to be read or re-read never seems to shrink! C. Doc Henry Posted April 24, 2017 Author Share #31240 Posted April 24, 2017 Hi Henry, No, never been ballooning, too scared, high up, no engine, no control, too scary. Flew past this balloon a while back though, looked nice out over the lake area. Gary Very nice variation on the blue theme Thanks Gary Henry
