Eoin , for color may be :) but Gary is like me for the "Panzer"

Leicaflex SL made in Germany , is good and Gary like me

uses now a lot for nature,  isn't ? I think it's more  adapted for

macro because the visibility is better than M  RF , may be it's not

Gary opinion :D

Best

Henry

Indeed Henry, indeed. I much prefer the Panzer for colour, and even more so for close up. In fact the M is vastly surpassed for anything close up, in my opinion.

The Panzer with Elpro on the 50 Summicron, or even the 35mm Summicron alone (focuses down to .3mtr) is perfect for casual nature shooting.

No way would I contemplate travelling with the SL, the MP is perfect for that of course, but up close well the SL wins.

Gary I confirm with these last pictures  a Leica MP has its "fingerprint"  :)

Definition, contrast, b&w tonality are wonderful , better than other cam you have

Really better :)

A good choice for your trip !

In conclusion, camera and lens are also very important to "make" a picture

and I don't forget the photographer also important for the success of the image.

Fomapan film is not bad !

Bravo Gary

Thanks for posting
