Edited the pic didn't like the colours I saw, yuk.

Gary I appreciate very much the color coming from your Summicron 35 and Leicaflex

Something magic  ! I think the series of Summicron 35 or 50 are great

Lens made at this period has really a good definition , not need Asph

Great ... I love this kind of time capsule. Fantastic ...

I do have also one in this direction.

My grandfather with his wife. He is proud to be one of the first owner of a automobile. Must be around 1930.

I found over 400 hundred pictures from 1890 until around 1970 at the stone floor of my parents house.

Wonderful pictures and great memories

I wonder, if we can keep our digital photos for 86 years with the same quality

A real treasure you have there Stefan

Thanks for posting

As I said above R summicron or elmarit gives a better rendering in color

I had a Vario Elmar 35-70 made in Japan . It does not have the same rendering

I prefer the rendering of Summicron or Elmarit Germany really !

Color is better in the second picture . It's my feeling Gary

You are likely correct Henry, opinion or not. I certainly enjoyed the 28-70 for it's simple zoom convenience, and the R8 for the multitudes of automation, but in the end they are both gone now.

The SL remains, as do the 35 and 50 Summicrons.
