It does not have the same rendering I prefer the rendering of Summicron or Elmarit Germany really ! Color is better in the second picture . It's my feeling Gary Best Henry You are likely correct Henry, opinion or not. I certainly enjoyed the 28-70 for it's simple zoom convenience, and the R8 for the multitudes of automation, but in the end they are both gone now. The SL remains, as do the 35 and 50 Summicrons.
