Two more views of cold and wintry Avebury from the first roll (Tri-X) put thro' my new Hasselblad.  Must find time during the week to shoot another roll!

Congrats on having a new (to you) Hasselblad. A great camera when configured to your personal ergonomics.

Based on your two posted images, I am suspicious of the clarity/definition as posted. Maybe this is a scanning cause, or just poor repro via digital presentation but I hope the camera produces good clear images on the film.

From Eoin's SWC photos from his old market in Chainmai, to my SWC photos from the old historic and ever dynamic "Mehane Yehuda" market in Jerusalem.  Started under Ottoman rule, this market has evolved from a filthy disgusted food market to a less filthy market enhanced with lots of trendy cafes, restaurants and pubs.  There are stalls open in this market 22 hours a day.  After hours the market becomes a hot spot for drinking eating, dancing and life.  This past year, an artist made a project out of painting wall murals on all of the doors of the market stalls.  At night when most of the stalls are closed and the restaurants, pubs and a few cafe stay open, the market becomes an indoor graffiti gallery that is so much fun to hang out in.

To Steve Blitz's chagrin, I captured nearly all of these mural with my SWC and either Provia 1200F, Velvia 50 or Ektar.

Here are a few from the market...

Provia 100F, SWC

It's not the equipment (wish I had a Hassy SWC) or your choice of film (I choose the same, even though I like to call it velveeta), it's the subject matter. In this photo, there is some context around the mural so the shot is modestly more interesting to me.  I wish you had used the wide to capture a little more of what was going on around the mural ..... but this is what you like to do and your wife approves, so post away!

I found the rendition of the Provia 100F to be brilliant...

back to Ektar (I had to arrive very early to take these photos b/c the stalls open well before 6am and then the paintings are out of sight until the evening with the night life kicks in, but the lighting sucks)

Very high ISO. Last night my wife and I hosted a combined 50th birthday party - she's 50, I have a month to go - :) I took my IIIA with me loaded with Ilford Delta 3200 film, the places we went were dark so I pushed it to 6400 ISO.

I processed with Ilfosol 3 for 18 minutes, grain is golf ball sized but I expected that before I even took the photographs. I'm going to try this again but I intend to experiment with other developers to see if I can get a finer grain.

Leica IIIA, Summar 5.0cm, Ilford Delta 3200 pushed to 6400 ISO.
