It's the 8100 JM.

I ran the whole roll through it before I did a couple of high res scans. Yes, it took ages, but I saved them as low-res JPEG's, and then made a contact sheet in CS6, very happy.

Is it better than the "old" method (the BEOON)? Not sure, but in some ways it is easier.

Gary

Gary , sure it's better , no grainy structure here and soft lines and definition, nice contrast

Balance shade of black and grey better !

Bravo Gary

Nice Maorie picture

What's the camera/lens Adam?

Gary

Linhof Technika Press 23 from the late 50's w/ a custom fit 53mm Zeiss Biogon and a 6x9 film back.  It is essentially like an old Hasselblad 500 w/ 50% more film negative surface area. (6x9 vs 6X6).   It is also essential a ton in weight...  :o

With Adam's picture, as we are in the material if you must travel and pass

the airport security gates, I suggest you put your film rolls in these Domke bags
Security guarantee (recent experience for me in cabin luggage)

.... if it can accommodate anyone here :)

Interesting timing ad i just went through airport security at La Guardia in NYC with my 20+ rolls of 35 and 120 film. I packed them very professionally in a one-gallon freezer grade plastic zip lock bag. :)

In flight now to sunny Miami. :)

Fine Neil and "Bon Voyage" Adam  :) taking back nice pictures as you do usually

There are at B&HNYC and on Amazon

Count for the big bag (thirty rolls may be a little more than 35, without packaging)

and a small bag 15-20 rolls.

I am not a shareholder of Domke :D .... but it's convenient and the rolls are safe
