I'm deeply impressed! Excellent picture in every aspect: It tells a story, has a wonderful use of light, is perfect in every technical detail. May I have some lessons from you?

Very nice. I have this lens and, even though I shoot 28mm quite often, for some reason, I am always disappointed with the results I achieve with the 28 Summicron....This, as well as other photos from other owners of 28 Summicron, stand as testimony that it is not a problem with the lens.

Thank you Wayne!. Did you check your lens? my experience is that its one of the best lenses I used in every aspect. its rendering is very clear with a lot of depth . I had the 35 summicron asph and it was pale against the 28 FL aside.

Good to see some other kayaking members 😀 I bought two kayaks since last year and esp. love to ride them after work, as it is so relaxing.

Today I shot my first roll of Adox CMS 20 Pro II film, using my Leica M3 and Summicron 50 mm.  Beyond the better or worse quality of the photos obtained, I was surprised by the quality of the film, its sharpness, absence of grain, contrasts etc ... tell me what you think (I developed with the developer itself recommended by the brand at a dilution of 1 +14 for 10 minutes and about 21 degrees Celsius)

sorry in advance for some drying marks but I'm not very good at it….  although I try

Really nice portrait! Lovely control for the first time with the film. (I think you scanned the other photo backwards: something I often do and curse myself 😄)

I used to have terrible problems with that due to the very hard water I have here. I now use photoflow for the last 30 seconds of rinsing and once the tool is hanging up to dry, I wipe them with a very soft chamois leather. This has helped a lot.

As Ken wrote, you seem to have flipped the photos during scanning.... the text is the give away :)

Are you scanning emulsion side down? I believe that’s the correct way to do it although I’m sure I’ve done it the other way myself and can’t say I noticed a difference!
