Much gratitude from this corner where it's better to be vertical than horizontal, even though I seem to be bent invariably on the oblique. Do you think there's a market for a three-way level on a watch band? For straight-up shooters? BTW your P-A-N-O-R-A-M-A photographs are redefining the notion of peripheral vision! I am thinking you should be talking to Oliver Peoples or Morgenthal Frederics about the Miller Panoframe. Here's lookin' at you, Rog 1

Popular Post AntonioF Posted December 11, 2018 Popular Post Share #56155 Posted December 11, 2018 (edited) Last Sunday I got a call from a friend from Taranto who was at an antique/rubbish/flea market and he had spotted a Pentax 6x7 at 70 euro. I said get it and he actually got it for me for 60 euro. Tomorrow I'll get a battery and try whether it works or it is dead. I've never shot 6x7 before. Here's a view of the so-called Little Sea of Taranto, a sort of lagoon connected to the open sea with a narrow canal. Famous for mussels farming, infamous now for water pollution. gbealnz Posted December 11, 2018 Share #56156 Posted December 11, 2018 Pentax 6x7 is a beast Antonio, I used one for aerial shooting, (obliques from an aeroplane window). It is a good system, except the size/weight. The lenses are cheap as chips too, I used a set for astro imaging, 200/4, and the 55/4 plus 75mm. Given my CCD chip was about APSc sized, the lens was being used in the centre only. Gary

I really hope mine will work, as it probably was forgotten in a basement for years. I believe it is the first type ever with no mirror lock-up.
