Not sure what or how it happened but it did. This was a result of multiple exposures on Fuji Neopan 1600 film that I had completely forgotten about. It was in my Leica iiia and was probably loaded and reloaded at least three or four times. I was going through a rough patch when I stopped taking photos for almost three years and only recently started to get back into it. I took the Leica on a trip to Boston thinking that it was loaded with TriX, my usual film. You can guess my surprise when I opened the camera to realize that it was in fact Fuji Neopan. I didn't have many expectations for this roll when I developed it and to be honest there were very few salvageable photos including this one very interesting one.

Really very good! This man is so close, you think you are a member of the team (and it is bloody cold)

On a recent trip to Lisbon. Tried some Foma 100 exposed at 50, didn't really make a difference...

Such a delight to hear from your once again, Christoph.  My only regret is that I view your dynamic image before I scoffed down my two sandwiches :)

Very nice!!

Adam,

Never left, circumstances just conspired against me posting... But as you noticed this is changing. I did notice though that reducing this image to forum size took away the nice grittiness of the original... By the way, have you had a look at events and member meetings? It seems NY is in view...

Best regards,

Christoph

RINE? Don't tell the digital crowd! Oops pretend I didn't say that! These two posts admirably illustrate that often a lack of what we might think of as technical perfection can lead us down paths to what we might otherwise travel. Wayne's family studies are steeped in a timelessness whereby the very idea of family is put forward already in a dreamy, soft - is warm going to far? - package. We know exactly how he feels about these most important people in his life - and we are generously invited to share that.  Joergel's swampy tree comes to us from some enchanted fabled land and, in looking at it, it is possible to construct stories and tales of what might go on there. A sharp picture might not have necessarily led us down that path. Great stuff! Now where do you go to get an acrylic lens?

Thank you, Phil,

I got the acrylic lens here:

Fair enough, Christoph.  I have indeed noticed your presence albeit as a spectator.  It's a pleasure to see some of your photography again, though.  Thanks for pointing me to the possible 2019 NYC meet up.  I haven't seen it and will take a look.

Sorry for the bad scan, it is a scan out of my 90 Dollar machine. Normally I just use this scanner to decide which photo should be sent to a professional scanner. But I liked this photo so much, that I used this bad scan.

To me it was the first time that I used the Ilford 400 professional and I am really impressed. I will use it more often.
