When I saw the Anthony Hopkins movie of Burt Munro's story, it seemed to me that it could have been one of those entrancing but unlikely novels that Neville Shute used to turn out.

Some autumn colour. This is a tree I pass most days and which must interest me because I seem to have a lot of photos of it. T-max 100 and Summaron-M.

Love these images.

 

I take a lunchtime walk at work, I've walked roughly the same route round the campus for 7 years, photographing the same things over and over again. It's fascinating lining all those photographs up now and looking at the changes over the years.

My Grandmother was at school with him. Hayes is my favourite hardware shop, filled with an assortment of vehicles and machines of history.
