Popular Post Wayne Posted November 7, 2017 Popular Post Share #42261 Posted November 7, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Wayne, I think that is the same house ... You have a really good eye for the little details. Both a great ... I didn't now what is a maiden of Honor or what they do ... OK now I get it. The photo looks great ... the combination of the young lady and the film looks beautiful. Best Gregor Thank you for the compliments. I have learned that the Pancro 400 is not a great film to push, but pleases me quite a bit at box speed. It and the Hektor seem to go well together. This was pushed as well, but lighting was stronger. Touches the vintage look I am always after. Welcome, dear visitor! Popular Post chrism Posted November 7, 2017 Popular Post Share #42270 Posted November 7, 2017 Today I did the last film in my push-pull experiments with XP2. It did very well at ISO 100. Nice negatives to scan, with contrast easily added back. I dug out my 1976 SMC Pentax 2/55 that took the last two portraits of Pippa. It is sharp, but not scary, so some of that detail must have come from the Acutol. K2, 2/55, XP2, ISO 100, HC-110, X1 scans. f5.6: Bayhead 1865 by chrism229, on Flickr f2: Mooring Lines by chrism229, on Flickr

chrism Posted November 8, 2017 Share #42274 Posted November 8, 2017 Yes, four minutes in the motorised Rondinax. Every negative required a tiny reduction in highlights, and exposure turned down about 1/4 stop. I don't know whether that was due to some inaccuracy in the K2's meter (and I was using it on auto-exposure, and it doesn't have an exposure lock to allow for easy compensation in backlit scenes), or whether I need to rethink the four minute development time. I have been finding that the continuous agitation of the Rondinax allows for a 20% reduction in development time, so maybe ~3m15s would be better. I'll have to play around a bit more. To be honest, getting it within 1/4 stop of perfect is pretty good for me!

chrism Posted November 8, 2017 Share #42276 Posted November 8, 2017 No, the times listed were in a conventional tank. They were: EI 100 4 minutes EI 200 6.5 minutesEI 400 10 minutesEI 800 13.5 minutesEI 1600 18 minutes(EI 3200 24 minutes - very unreliable.)
