A miller Posted September 8, 2017 Share #39721 Posted September 8, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Richard - the second one is quite clever with the colorful dots against the backdrop of the rainbow. Are those your foot prints running up the road? Thanks Adam, a little bit funky sounds good to me, we get up early for those 'fruit salad skies' after all and colour is such a subjective thing. I have had difficult green/magenta colour shifts with Ektar in the past in lower light that put me off using it for a while but I think a little underexposure by me was at least partly to blame. A couple of older Ektar shots on 35mm from NSW 'for the love of saturated colours', look forward to more from the Dead Sea.

I noticed that you are using a Zeiss lens for these shots. Have you any view / comparison how this may influence the colour quality vs. a Leica Lens? edwardkaraa Posted September 8, 2017 Share #39737 Posted September 8, 2017 Edward, Thanks for showing your interesting views which seem to bring out the specific colour qualities of your respective films so well. I noticed that you are using a Zeiss lens for these shots. Have you any view / comparison how this may influence the colour quality vs. a Leica Lens? Best regards, Christoph Thank you very much Christoph for the kind comments. I have not done any comparisons especially that I don't own any M lenses, but my understanding is that individual film character largely predominates any subtle lens color casts. However, the current generation of T* coatings has a slight yellow/green cast that might enhance the color of the trees.

I noticed that you are using a Zeiss lens for these shots. Have you any view / comparison how this may influence the colour quality vs. a Leica Lens? Best regards, Christoph I noticed that too... that you are using Zeiss lenses. I've heard that they have a propensity to add 'pop' to the colours and an 'edge' to the sharpness. I have the 25mm ZM but seldom use it. In any case, at the moment I'm out of colour film!
